Qualifications |

I trained with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), the world’s largest professional association for bookkeepers, and hold their Level IV Certificate in Advanced Bookkeeping and Accounts, which is the highest qualification they offer. I make every effort to keep abreast of all the latest developments affecting bookkeeping, accounting and related software. I also have the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.

I have been a freelance bookkeeper for over ten years now and gained experience with a wide variety of clients, including a garden centre, a veterinary surgery, a travel agency, a hairdressing salon, a number of builders, a consumer electronics company, a company that sells health supplements, a business training company, a recruitment company, a number of therapists, a firm of accountants, a digital advertising company, pubs and hotels. I make every effort to get to know each business I work with and learn about the industry in which it operates. I enjoy working with software to find quicker ways of doing things and am proficient in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Excel. In a number of cases, I have trained staff or business owners to use this software so that they can do some or all of their bookkeeping themselves.
